Changed Traffic Conditions

To capture the energy of the Run Huskisson event, some temporary road and car park closures will be in effect. These measures are in place to ensure a safe and seamless experience for both participants and spectators.

Please read the information below outlining the changed traffic conditions and road closures to ensure you are aware of alternative routes in place for you to access these areas and safely cross the course if necessary. The changed traffic conditions and road closures are subject to change.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

Detailed road access and closure info including downloadable PDF and interactive map will be available on this page in early 2027.

Parking & Transport

We ask all participants and spectators to be respectful to residents, especially in residential areas, and:

  • Do not park across driveways
  • Do not park in no parking zones
  • Do not litter or urinate in public areas, athletes caught doing this will be disqualified

Please ensure that you are aware of any parking restrictions and changed traffic conditions.

Key Information

Personal deliveries

Any delivery driver or service provider will not be able to access the roads being used for the event, or the areas within the course once road closures are in place. Deliveries should be organised to avoid the road closures in place for the event.

Pedestrian & cyclist access

Pedestrian and cycling access will be facilitated across the road closures at designated crossing points. Bicycles will not be permitted to cycle on the closed roads.

Emergency Services

Your safety is our priority. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times throughout the event to ensure emergency services can respond quickly if required. We ask all participants, spectators and residents to follow the directions of event staff and traffic controllers and to keep all designated emergency access routes clear to help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

Roads Re-Opening Times

For specific information on affected roads, please refer to the Changed Traffic Conditions table above. Roads will be reopened progressively throughout the day as soon as it is confirmed that the event course is clear and safe for normal traffic operations to resume. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to minimise disruptions and ensure a safe event for all.

Get in and out of closed road

See if you can park your car on another road that is unimpacted, you can then walk to this when it suits

Check to see if there is a controlled crossing point nearby – this means that a traffic controller will safely get you and your car across an intersection – please allow extra time for delays here.
